The Silent Composer!
Imagine:
You have been chosen by Holywood to write new music for an old silent film!!
The Producers ask you to:
Choose a silent film from the Archives
Download one that you would like to orchestrate (write the music).
Use the BBC Sound Files Library to create an Audio Track for your Film Clip.
To complete this activity you will need to download a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Ideally, you should download one that also has a video timeline.
Some of the best DAW’s can be expensive. You might like to try a Free Trial version of Mix Craft 8 or an old version of Mix Craft. Version 5 should do the trick.
Alternatively, you can use Sound Trap to create a new audio file for your film.
Use headphones while you work!!
